Improper Lane Change
Roadside DUI Test

COBB COUNTY – The client, a College graduate about to enter grad school in the Fall for an MBA, was stopped for Improper Lane Change after she drove around some construction cones in the road.. She was then given roadside tests for DUI and passed them all.
The Officer arrested her anyway after a search of a laundry bag found in the trunk of the car produced less than an ounce of cannabis. The defendant had no prior record and I made application for her case to be placed in the Pretrial Diversion Program. She successfully completed the community service 40 hours and the 6 hours of Alcohol/Drug Education classes as well as the Victim Impact Panel. The case was nolle prossed this morning.
