Eddy began his legal career as an Assistant Public Defender in Newton County, where he gained extensive courtroom experience defending individuals accused of criminal offenses. He later served as an Assistant District Attorney in Gwinnett County, prosecuting criminal cases on behalf of the State of Georgia. In that role, he gained firsthand knowledge of prosecutorial strategy, evidence evaluation, case preparation, and courtroom procedure.
