Christopher Cahill

Attorney Christopher B. Cahill joined the Hines Law team in 2023, to apply his legal experience and dedication to his clients to the mission of Hines Law. He completed his undergraduate degrees in legal studies, economics, and writing in 2011 at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. He continued his education at the University of Tennessee Knoxville College of Law. While studying law he excelled in courses focused on advocacy and litigation while working with many nonprofit organizations and the Knoxville Public Defender office. He graduated with his J.D. in 2014.

Attorney Cahill “hung his own shingle” in 2015, beginning his practice of law representing people accused of crimes in and around Cobb County and the greater Atlanta area. He represented private and appointed clients accused of traffic offenses, misdemeanors, drug charges, violent crimes, sexual offenses, offenses against children, and murder. In 2018 he joined a small firm and moved to Cartersville where he continued representing private and appointed clients accused of crimes. In 2020, he met his wife, moved back to Marietta, and joined a large workers compensation defense firm. There he learned the intricacies of workers compensation litigation and gained a practical knowledge of how workers compensation employers and insurers defend their claims. In 2023 he began representing people who were injured on the job with their workers compensation claims – that’s when he joined the Hines Law team. Now, he uses his experience in trial litigation combined with his knowledge of the workers compensation system to best represent his clients’ interests and achieve the greatest result possible.

In addition to practicing law, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, playing ultimate frisbee, running, and hiking with his boys.
