FULTON COUNTY – Frederick R. Mann Jr of The Law Offices of Matthew C. Hines, LLC successfully resolved the case of a Mexican national charged in Alpharetta Municipal Court with Driving Without a Driver License and Driving while using a cell phone in May of this year.
The defendant was confined to ten days of house arrest and pad a $1000 fine plus court costs at his change of plea.
The statutory jail time was waived in light of the house arrest. Although it was the defendant’s second conviction for driving without a DL, no probation or jail was ordered as there was no accident and the defendant paid the fine and court costs immediately in addition to having completed the ten days of house arrest prior to court.
