COBB COUNTY – Frederick R. Mann Jr of The Law Offices of Matthew C. Hines, LLC successfully resolved a client’s case in Marietta Municipal Court this week.
The client, a US citizen, was charged with:
- Speeding (75 in a 45),
- Failure to use lane change of lane signal, and
- Failure to display her drivers license
The plea negotiated was as follows:
- The speeding (a “Super Speeder” charge”) was reduced to a 59 MPH in a 45 MPH zone; the fine was set at $350 total
- The Failure to Display DL was a fine of $35 and the client was allowed to plead NOLO CONTENDERE; and
- The Failure to Use Signal ticket was dropped.
The client completed a defensive driving class and performed 24 hours of community service pre-lea as part of the resolution.
