The client, without immigration status, had been charged with Driving without a driver’s license.
The plea to the court required
- 40 hours community service
- 10 days of house arrest
- A fine of $500 plus court costs, and
- Completion of a defensive driving course.
The court:
- Suspended the mandatory 2 day jail time and
- Imposed no probation
as the client had completed all the requirements before his plea and paid his fee all at one time after the plea.
