Cobb State Court
FREDERICK R. MANN JR. of THE LAW OFFICES OF MATTHEW C. HINES, LLC, successfully resolved a client’s case in Cobb State Court today, avoiding both probation and jail time.
The client, a Mexican national, had been charged with Driving Without a Valid License and Improperly entering a Central Turn lane earlier than 300 feet from the intersection.
The State reduced the second charge to Violation of a Basic Traffic Regulation (zero points, no fine) and the client paid the minimum fine of $500 for driving without a license plus court costs.
Because the client had performed 80 hours of community service before the plea, the mandatory 2-day jail sentence was suspended by the court
