HALL STATE COURTFrederick R. Mann Jr of The Law Offices of Matthew C. Hines, LLC successfully resolved the case of a Mexican client charged with Speeding and Driving Without a Driver License in Gainesville, Hall County, Georgia.

The negotiated plea was for a total fine plus costs of $864. The State alleged the client had been traveling 65 in a 45 MPH zone and has never had a Georgia DL. The mandatory 2-day jail term was suspended and the client was not required to be on probation or perform community service, as he was able to pay the fine immediately. It was the client’s first offense.

Mr. Mann served as a Federal prosecutor (Assistant US Attorney) in Miami for 6 years; as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami  (State prosecutor) for over 3 years; and as an Assistant Public Defender in Northwest Florida’s 14th Judicial Circuit, for almost 13 years. He was in private practice 16 years when not in government service.
